Hi! I’m Cyndi.
I’ve been in tech over 17 years. I started off as an application developer with Foxpro back in 2006. Initially that was using Foxpro databases, but in time, it grew to become SQL Server. That became my segue into the bigger world of SQL Server and OLTP systems, application languages, and complex architectures.
Eventually I’d find my way into Analytics and Azure, which is where I’m at now in 2024.
For many years I was fixated on my career, with an obsession for learning programming languages and scaling complex systems that work with data and tiered architectures. That fixation has taken a toll, and now I find myself at a point in my life where other things are more important: health, relationships, balance, and serenity.
I’ve been divorced over two years now, and I’m deciding what I want to do from here on out. One thing I know for certain is that people are going to take priority over programming languages. Money has never been a driver for me, but being financially responsible is.
